Sindiket or Syndicates is 2017 Malaysian action film, starring Sharnaaz Ahmad as Detective Inspector Rudy, an investigation officer from Bukit Aman C.I.D D7 were assigned to Sabah state for investigate and busted the operational of human trafficking near the East Malaysia-Kalimantan border and he was assisted by Detective Inspector Sabrina from Sabah State Police Headquarters. Inspired by a true story, the movie focuses on the issue of human trafficking following a local woman who is tricked by her boyfriend and sold to a brothel. There she is given drugs and forced to sell herself.

The EKOL Dicle with golden plate is used by Galang (Rashidi Ishak), the leader of a brothel. The same weapon with nickel versions is also used by a group of Southern Filipino militias and chrome version by one of Galang's men who believed is police informer during the final shootout.

Unknown STI International Variant

Detective Insp. Rudy and Detective Insp. Sabrina can be seen using the STI International variant during the raid into the Galang's luxury boat and into the Rudy's house. It doesn't appear to be the STI variant used in the film, as it the improved slant-5 cuts slide. However, the gun is never fired.
