Red 2 is the 2013 sequel to 2010's Red. Bruce Willis returns as "Retired, Extremely Dangerous" former CIA operative Frank Moses, who has been informed he is once again targeted for elimination, this time by his old colleague Victoria (Helen Mirren) because of the discovery of a mission involving a long missing scientist and a Cold War-era nuclear weapon. The film was directed by Dean Parisot, and John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, and Brian Cox return for the sequel, and are joined this time by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Anthony Hopkins.

The following weapons were used in the film Red 2:

Machine Guns

General Dynamics GAU-17/A

The assassin Han Jo-Bae (Byung-hun Lee) opens fire with a custom prop or a conventional machine gun dressed up to appear as a GAU-17/A. There is a brief shot of the weapon from the right flank where the receiver is clearly flat and rectangular, with the rotating dummy barrels appearing to surround a central real barrel. The ammunition (if real) is positioned on the left side of the gun, feeding into what would be the main drive motor of a real Minigun. This positioning makes sense for a conventional machine gun dressed up as a Minigun.
