The Luger rifle is the unofficial name of a prototype semi-automatic rifle design patented in 1906 by Georg Luger, an adaptation of his toggle-locked Luger P08 into a rifle format. At least one rifle is known to be made and survived today, marked with serial number 4. Images of this weapon are believed to have come from an auction catalogue, and it is likely in the hands of a private collector.
