Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine is a 1999 Action-Adventure game developed by LucasArts. The game is a loose sequel to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (notably ditching the point and click style of that game for gameplay more akin to the Tomb Raider series.) and is set in 1947 during the Cold War, Henry "Indiana" Jones, Jr is in the middle of a mundane archeological dig in the American Southwest when he is interrupted by returning Fate of Atlantis character Sophia Hapgood who recruits Jones on a CIA mission to investigate a Soviet dig site in the ruins of Babylon, where a clue sets Indy on a adventure to obtain various parts of the "Infernal Machine" scattered across the world before the Soviet forces led by Dr. Gennadi Volodnikov can.
All firearms in the game do not need to be reloaded.
Handguns
Smith & Wesson M1917
The "45-caliber Revolver", modeled after the Smith & Wesson M1917, is the sidearm that Indy has throughout the game. It is a short-medium range weapon and, in true Indy style, comes with unlimited ammunition.
Tokarev TT-33
The TT-33 is the sidearm of the majority of the Soviet soldiers and officers in the game. It is incorrectly referred to as "9mm Automatic Pistol". It usually has quite a plentiful supply of ammo. The Tokarev can be first found in the Babylon level.
Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer
The Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer appears as "Machine Pistol" and is a powerful handgun used by the Soviet Army. One of the most powerful and deadly sidearms in the game. Aside from being one of the most powerful, it also has a fast rate of fire. The Mauser is found in the Babylon level. Uses it's own "Machine Pistol Ammo". In reality, the M712 was never officially issued by any Soviet military or paramilitary force.
Rifles
Simonov SKS
Many Soviet troops in the game carry the SKS. A very powerful long range rifle, it can drop an enemy in one or two hits, depending on range. It can be found in the Babylon level onward.
Its ammo pickups are inaccurately new magazines (despite the SKS not having a detachable magazine) instead of stripper clips (presumably to avoid confusion with the M712 Schnellfeuer, which has stripper clips as ammo pickups).
Submachine guns
PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 fitted with a stick magazine is used by the Soviet Army. It is found in the Palawan Volcano level.
Shotguns
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 appears as "Pump Action Shotgun", and it seems to be a fictional "intermediate" variant between the "Riot" and extended versions. It is used by the Soviet Army (although Soviet forces were not interested in shotguns until the 1980s, and the Ithaca 37 is/was fairly uncommon in the USSR/Russia; a somewhat more suitable shotgun would be Winchester M1897 or M1912).
Launchers
Panzerschreck RPzB 54
Indy acquires the Panzerschreck RPzB 54 quite late on in the game. It's a powerful weapon which can take down many enemies at once. But it can be dangerous if used at close range. Although referred to as "Bazooka", it can be identified by its unique trigger group.
Explosives
Mk 2 grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenades are found by Indy onboard the freighter. They can effectively clear out a room of any enemies.
Satchel Charge
Unlike the Panzerschreck or the grenade, Indy can only place the charges, then run before it explodes. It can be used as a trap.
