Death on the Nile is the 2022 feature film adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel of the same name. Kenneth Branagh returns from 2017's Murder on the Orient Express to direct and star as the legendary Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, who investigates a murder while traveling in Egypt. Ridley Scott again serves as producer and the cast includes Gal Gadot, Annette Bening, and Tom Bateman. The 2022 film follows a 1978 feature film adaptation that was directed by John Guillermin and starred Peter Ustinov as Poirot as well as an episode from the ITV series that starred David Suchet as Poirot. The film was scheduled for theatrical release on October 23, 2020, but was delayed until its premiere on February 11, 2022.

Belgian soldiers are seen armed with what appears to be Lebel Model 1886 Rifles as their main weapon during the sequences set during World War I.

The Gewehr 98 is used by German soldiers during the WWI sequences.

Some German soldiers are also armed with post-war full-length Mauser Gewehr 1898M rifles that have tangent rear sight instead of the Lange Visier rear sight.
Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III*
At the movie's end, British policemen carry Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III* rifles.
Mle 1892 Revolver
Captain Rens (Orlando Seale) is seen armed with what appears to be an Mle 1892 Revolver during the sequences set during World War I.
FN Model 1900
While fighting in World War I, Poirot uses an FN Model 1900 pistol.
Sharps Model 1A Pepperbox
What appears to be an ornately decorated Sharps Model 1A Pepperbox is seen used. Based on the shape of the frame, it is likely that this pistol is actually a modern Uberti replica.
Maxim MG 08
A Maxim MG08 is seen at the German position.
Model 1914 Ball Grenade
What appear to be a several Model 1914 Ball Grenades are used as a tripwire trap.
Model 15 Stielhandgranate
Several Model 15 Stielhandgranates are used as a tripwire trap.
