Kahr K9

Beginning in Season 2, Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) carries the Kahr K9 Stainless pistol as his sidearm. In "The Job" (S2E12), Danny lets his son Jack (Tony Terraciano) handle the Kahr after the family car was shot at. Danny has his son in the episode recite the three rules of gun safety: 1 - Always point the gun in a safe direction, 2 - Never touch the trigger until you're ready to shoot, and 3: Assume every gun is loaded. Note: The Kahr K9 was at one time authorized to be an off duty weapon for the NYPD. But in December of 2011, the NYPD Command Staff withdrew authorization of this weapon for use by sworn members of the NYPD.

It's also carried by Danny's partner Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito). In "Critical Condition" (S2E03), Erin Reagan-Boyle (Bridget Moynahan) is seen firing the Glock pistol at a shooting range.
