Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones assumes the role of Blade in the series, which was actually a continuation of the films' continuity, as several events from the films were mentioned in the first episode. The series was broadcast in the US on the Spike channel and aired for 13 episodes in 2006. The pilot episode was also released on DVD as a separate film under the title Blade: House of Chthon.
