Violent Night is a 2022 action comedy film directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. On Christmas night, Santa Claus finds himself in the middle of a conflict between the wealthy Lightstone family and violent mercenaries led by Christmas-hating Jimmy "Mr. Scrooge" Martinez. Now Santa Claus must save the little girl Trudy and help her family survive. Violent Night was released theaters in the United States on December 2, 2022.

Jessica "Sugarplum" Prestwood (Stephanie Sy) loads her rifle when Björn gives the signal for action. "Tinsel" (Phong Giang) shoots the guards outside, and confronts Santa, after which his gun lies on the ground. An enraged "Scrooge" (John Leguizamo) takes a rifle from one of his mercenaries and shoots up the Christmas tree.
