A Latvian Augusts Grieze (Arturs Dimiters), Red Army Lieutenant, is wounded in action in Summer 1941 and taken as prisoner. Now Augusts has to cleanse his name and to uncover a German spy, posing as Soviet soldier of Grieze's unit.
