That said, in these images the gun looks to have a rather large cylinder, which might actually make it a .45-sized revolver (The revolver also looks like it has a shrouded ejector rod, though its hard to tell). If so, the only appropriate one would be the [[Smith & Wesson Model 22|Model 22]] (the commercial WWII M1917 revolver for .45ACP/.45 Auto Rim), but if so that'd be a rarity. | − | :Might sound a bit odd, but I think it might actually be based on a British [[Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector]] in .455 caliber that has been converted to .45 Long Colt (a relatively easy and common thing to do). It looks to me that the second "5" has been overstamped with the "Colt".
