Mikhail Krug was a Russian singer-songwriter of Russian Shanson (criminal subculture song) genre, who also acted in Konstantin Murzenko's movie April (Aprel). Despite singing about the life of criminals and portraying one on screen Krug was actually a quiet family man with barely any criminal record. He was fatally wounded with a shot from TT-33 by an unknown assailant on July 1, 2002.
