Mama, I'm Alive (German title Mama, ich lebe, Russian title Mama, ya zhiv) is an East German-Soviet 1977 (filmed 1976) war drama directed by Konrad Wolf. Four young German soldiers are Soviet POWs. They decide to fight against Nazism on the Red Army side.
The following weapons were used in the film Mama, I'm Alive (Mama, ich lebe):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are carried by Soviet Capt. Viktor Glunskiy (Evgeniy Kindinov) and Sgt. Kolja (Mikhail Vaskov).
Pistols
Luger P08
German pilot Günther Becker (Peter Prager) and his crewmember carry Luger P08 pistols when their plane is downed.
Submachine Gun
PPSh-41
A PPSh-41 is seen in hands of the commander of the Soviet scout group that capture Becker.
MP40
MP40s are seen in flashback scenes of Walter Pankonin, carried by a German NCO and a Soviet partisan.
Assault Rifles
Sturmgewehr 44
Sturmgewehr 44 assault rifles are seen in hands of Karl Koralewski (Eberhard Kirchberg), Walter Pankonin (Uwe Zerbe) and Soviet Sgt. Kolja (Mikhail Vaskov). The movie shows the full process of assembling of StG 44 (see talk page).
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Some Soviet soldiers carry Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines.
Karabiner 98k
Walter Pankonin (Uwe Zerbe), Günther Becker (Peter Prager), Helmuth Kuschke (Detlef Gieß) and a Soviet partisan carry Karabiner 98k rifles in several scenes.
Gewehr 1898
A Soviet partisan holds a Gewehr 1898 rifle. A German soldier carries a Mauser rifle that appears to be too long for 98k and also seems to be a G98.
Machine Guns
MG34
An MG34 is mounted on Becker's plane (this is highly incorrect as MG34 were never used on planes). An MG34 on tripod is transported by German soldiers.
Other Weapons
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
Walter Pankonin (Uwe Zerbe) and other German soldiers carry Model 24 Stielhandgranate hand grenades.
