Revision as of 11:57, 21 January 2015
The following weapons were used in the film Land of the Dead:
Pistols
Taurus PT92
It seems for the firing scenes a Stainless Taurus PT92 is used (noted by lack of slide mounted safeties).
Beretta 92FS
Mouse's(Maxwell McCabe-Lokos) sidearm is a Beretta 92FS.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Riley (Simon Baker) wields two Beretta 92FS Inox and utilizes them for the entire film.
SIG-Sauer P228
Cholo turns in his SIG-Sauer P228 over to security when he enters Fiddler's Green. It is later seen being used by Anchor(Tony Munch) to hold Riley.
M1911A1
Foxy's (Tony Nappo) primary firearm is a Colt MK IV Series 70 .
Walther PPK
Mr. Kaufmann's (Dennis Hopper) personal firearm is a nickel plated Walther PPK.
Revolvers
Single Action Army
Charlie keeps a Single Action Army as his sidearm. Charlie shoots his SAA right handed, as he can still use his left 'good eye' to aim with a handgun.
Colt Python
Mike kills himself with a zombie police officer's Colt Python after he is bitten by him.
Ruger SP101
Chihuahua(Phil Fondacaro) asks the bartender for his gun and tries to kill Riley with it.
Smith & Wesson N-frame
Pretty Boy (Joanne Boland) keeps a Smith & Wesson N-frame as her sidearm.
Submachine guns
Uzi
Mike the newcomer(Shawn Roberts) carries an Uzi in the supply raid in the beginning of the film.
Mini Uzi
Several of the supply raiders are armed with Mini Uzis.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The "backup" sent by Mr.Kaufman (Dennis Hopper) are all armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5A3.
Shotgun
Winchester 1300
Several characters in the film are armed with Winchester 1300s.
Rifles
Steyr AUG
The Steyr AUG is first seen as the raiders are preparing for the supply run, however its major role is when it's snatched off a speeding motorcycle raider as he speeds past by Big Daddy(Eugene Clark) who uses it for the rest of the film. Because of his limited intelligence, Big Daddy always shoots the weapon one-handed, although with some surprising accuracy.
M16A1
The M16A1 is the standard issue rifle for soldiers in the green and blue soldiers.
M16 SP1 with A1 flash-hider
Several of the Soldiers at the green are armed with the M16 SP1 with A1 flash-hider instead of the usual M16A1. In a smaller role, Big Daddy later gives one of these weapons to the baseball bat-wielding zombie teenager and briefly shows her its operation to the best of his abilities.
M16A2 (mocked up as M16A1)
Several of the Soldiers are actually armed with M16A2s with A1 handguard in order to mock them up as M16A1s. However the A2 rear sight and brass deflector betray its true identity.
MGC M16
The MGC M16 can be seen in place of the M16A1 in several scenes of the film.
AR-15 carbine
M1 Carbine
Charlie's primary weapon throughout the film is an M1 Carbine. He fires the gun left handed due to his damaged right eye.
Heckler & Koch G36C
An Armorer at the green offers a Heckler & Koch G36C to Charlie but he declines. Slack then takes it and uses it for the duration of the film.
Machine guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB is mounted on Woody, an improvised fighting vehicle named so for its light-brown paintjob.
M60
An M60 is mounted on Woody's front passenger side door. Another is can be found in the guard tower at the supply tunnel entrance. Motown eventually takes the one off Woody when she regains consciousness after being knocked out.
Other
Cholo's Speargun
Cholo DeMora's (John Leguizamo)primary weapon is a speargun.
Mk 2 hand grenade
An armed MK 2 grenade is briefly seen about to thrown by one of the soldiers when the Green is attacked. The thrower, however, has his arm severed by the butcher zombie before he gets the chance to throw it.
Nongun
When Mr. Kaufmann shoots at Big Daddy he is using a nongun in the place of his Walther PPK.
"Dead Reckoning"
Dead Reckoning is a highly advanced, heavily armored and armed assault vehicle derived from a truck. It sports the following armaments.
M60D
An M60D is mounted on each side of Dead Reckoning. Unlike the rest of the vehicle's weapons, these are manned by the vehicle's crew instead of being remote-controlled.
Minigun
Dead Reckoning has a pair of remote-controlled miniguns mounted on its front area.
"6 Pack"
Dead Reckoning also sports a pair of roof-mounted remote-controlled rocket launchers dubbed the "6 pack", due to each launcher holding a maximum of 6 rockets.
