Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man is a 1991 action film set in the then future year of 1996, where a former rodeo rider (Don Johnson) and an outlaw biker (Mickey Rourke) get together with some friends to pull a heist in order to get money to save the Burbank bar of an old friend. Harley Davidson (Mickey Rourke) obtains a Desert Eagle Mark VII near the beginning from the thug holding up the gas station. It seems that someone from the movie's crew read an article by Taffin about his own Ruger, built by Horvath. The producers tried to Borrow Taffin's revolver but he declined and suggested them to contact Horvath. The gunsmith then built several revolvers for the movie and (reportedly) for Don Johnson's and Mickey Rourke's personal use. It is doubtful that the revolvers used in the movie were actually converted to .454 Casull.
