Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter developed by Swedish game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a main series entry in EA's large-scale Battlefield FPS series, and is the first entry to take place in a modern/near future setting since 2013's Battlefield 4.
The game is set in the year 2042 and features new technology not seen before in any previous Battlefield titles, such as wingsuits. There are also a lot of advanced, futuristic vehicles and weapons.
