Arisaka is a 2021 survival thriller film starring Maja Salvador as Mariano, the lone survivor of a politician's police escort team ambushed by a squad of corrupt cops. After surviving the ambush, she follows the Bataan Death March on a journey to escape her captors.

The titular Arisaka Type 99 is acquired and used in the film's climax. It is also seen earlier in a hallucinaton being held by Japanese soldiers. The rifle has a bent bolt and is equipped with a monopod which goes unused.
