Affairs of the Past (Dela davno minuvshikh dney...) is a Soviet 1972 detective movie directed by Vladimir Shredel. A finding of an old briefcase in a ruined house in 1970s leads to a treasure, hidden in 1920s.

In the scenes that takes place in 1926 Nagant M1895 revolvers are carried by Leningrad Ugolovny Rozysk (Criminal Police) detectives Beletsky (Ivan Nasonov), Motylyov (Mikhail Lobanov) and Kemberovsky (Pyotr Merkuryev) and a criminal Serdyukov (Yuri Maltsev).
Mosin Nagant M1891
An original Mosin Nagant M1891 rifle with bayonet is carried by a prison guard in the scene that takes place in 1926.
