Submachine Guns
M1A1 Thompson
Harry, Benny, Davey Collins (Davy Kaye) and Tozzi use M1A1 Thompson submachine guns.

Davey carries his Thompson slung over his shoulder.
Tozzi points his M1A1 Thompson. The thin edge of the top armor plate of the tank is visible.
Beretta Model 38/44
Italian police are armed with Beretta Model 38/44 submachine guns.

Other
CS Grenade
Juliana, Benny and Davey are seen with CS grenades.
Juliana hands the grenades to Benny.
Benny holds the grenades.
Davey pulls the pin on a grenade.
Davey prepares to throw the grenade while holding his M1A Thompson. The grenades are not shown emitting smoke, and appear to be pull-tab soda cans mocked up as grenades. The grenade in Davey's right hand is slightly crumpled.
Carro Armato M13/40
An Italian M13/40 tank is seen among the inventory at a surplus military vehicle dealer.
Light Tank (Universal Carrier mockup)
A Universal Carrier is mocked up as a light tank. There were no versions of the Universal Carrier produced with a gun mounted in a rotating turret.
The tank is driven out of the truck, using metal ramps.
The tank blocks the railroad tracks. The tank has the characteristic track wheels of a Universal Carrier.
Note the small bore diameter and thick barrel wall of the main gun, suggesting it is a fake.
After the tank is bumped by the train, the side armor is bent, indicating it is thin sheet metal.
Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress
A Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress is seen late in the film.
