Money Monster is a 2016 thriller starring George Clooney as Lee Gates, a raucous television financial analyst who finds himself taken hostage by a desperate citizen who threatens to kill him on a live broadcast. The film was directed by Jodie Foster and co-stars Julia Roberts and Jack O'Connell.
