The Return of the Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe (Le Retour du Grand Blond) is a 1974 French comedy film directed by Yves Robert. This movie is a continuation of the famous comedy The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe (Le Grand Blond avec une chaussure noire). Three months after the end of first story is once again press-ganged into service, because Colonel Toulouse (Jean Rochefort) needs to prove that François Perrin as the Tall Blond Man (Pierre Richard) is a real super-secret agent and not somebody chosen at random. Toulouse has a new boss—the former Minister of Agriculture has become the Minister of Interior. Two killers (in Rio) and funeral (in France) are staged—and both are comically bungled. Christine (Mireille Darc) appears again, in her usual dazzling clothes. At a symphony concert—in a white backless dress, this time—she tries to shoot Francois (with blanks). Eventually, Boy Gets Girl Back.
