The Fall of the Condor (Padeniye kondora) is a 1982 Soviet drama film directed by Sebastián Alarcón. The plot shows the story of a young soldier Manuel (Evgeniy Leonov-Gladyshev) in an unnamed Latin American state (Pinochet's Chile is implied) who raises to the personal bodyguard of the military dictator of the state (Sergey Yurskiy).

Manuel (Evgeniy Leonov-Gladyshev) carries an M1911A1 pistol during his service as the Dictator's bodyguard and trusted person.
Makarov PM
When Manuel is sent abroad to commit a political assassination, he uses a Makarov PM with a fake sound suppressor.

Manuel finds a Thompson M1928A1 submachine gun in Maria's house. It is fitted with the magazines of MP40.
