The Conspiracy (Le complot) is a 1973 French-Italian-Spanish action thriller directed by Rene Gainville. The movie is set in France in early 1960s when OAS paramilitary organization made last attempts in the war against General de Gaulle. Maj. Clavet (Jean Rochefort) prepares for a raid on the prison where one of the leaders of OAS is kept. Meanwhile Commissioneer Lelong (Michel Bouquet), assisted by the chief of secret police Paraux (Raymond Pellegrin), investigates the activities of Clavet's group.
