The following weapons were used in Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica (2004):
Pistols
Colonial Standard Military Sidearm (FN FiveseveN)
From Season 2 to the end, this weapon became the standard Colonial Military sidearm. It is a slightly modified original-run FN FiveseveN. It keeps the underbarrel explosive launcher. This changeover allows for real semi-automatic fire and makes use of the existing stores of 5.7 x 28mm blank ammunition. The explosive launcher was muzzle loaded, and was featured in the second season episode "Valley of Darkness," but not prominently afterward.
Colonial Handgun (Smith & Wesson Model 686)
The heavily modified Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver featured in the miniseries and Season 1 still made some appearances in Season 2, notably in the hands of Helo.
Stallion (COP 357 Derringer)
Referred by Chief Tyrol as the "Stallion", this 4 shot .357 Magnum is in reality a COP 357 Derringer. Seen pulled by both "Caprica" Sharon (Grace Park) and Meier (James Remar) in "Home, Part 2" (S2E07).
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
The Heckler & Koch Mark 23 fitted with a Phase II LAM is one of the two weapons Samuel Anders (Michael Trucco) is seen handling while on Caprica notably in "Resistance" (S2E04).
Vektor CP1
Cropping up now and again is the South African Vektor CP1. Lee Adama (Jamie Bamber) also is seen holding one on Phelan (Bill Duke) in "Black Market" (S2E14). Kara dual-wields the pistols in "Sacrifice" (S2E16).
Intratec CAT 9
An Intratec CAT 9 is seen in the hands of one of Sesha Abinell's (Dana Delany) allies in the Cloud Nine Lounge in "Sacrifice" (S2E16).
Makarov PM
Sesha Abinell (Dana Delany) as well as some of her gunmen are seen wielding the Makarov PM during the siege of Cloud 9 in "Sacrifice" (S2E16).
CZ 52
A CZ 52 is used by one of the terrorists during the siege of Cloud 9 in "Sacrifice" (S2E16).
Hammerli 280
What appears to be a Hammerli 280 is carried in a holster in "Resistance" (S2E04).
Desert Eagle (non gun)
A Desert Eagle is also one of the sidearms carried in the series by Anders. In "Downloaded" (S2E18), he briefly loses it after blowing up a Cylon-occupied building on Caprica when D'anna (Lucy Lawless), a Number 3, seizes it and threatens to kill him before being beaten to death by Number 8. The weapon is nickel plated and is sometimes replaced with non-gun version.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch UMP
The Heckler & Koch UMP is seen in the hands of Sam Anders in "Resistance" (S2E04) as well as some of the Colonial Marines guarding the Pegasus. The UMP in the series doesn't appear to have been fitted with any special modifications.
Beretta M12
The Beretta M12 is one of the weapons recovered from the hidden cache during the escape from New Caprica. It was first seen in the hands of Resistance members in season 2.
Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion
In "Resistance" (S2E04), Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (Katee Sackhoff) wields two Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion machine pistols with 20-round magazines after hooking up with Helo on Caprica and just before encountering the Resistance.
Ruger MP9
In "Resistance" (S2E04), a Ruger MP9 is seen being carried by Karl "Helo" Agathon (Tahmoh Penikett) just before he and Starbuck encounter the Resistance.
Cobray M11/9 (non-gun)
Anders also is seen using a Cobray M11/9 non-gun fitted with a thread protector in "Downloaded" (S2E18).
Rifles
Beretta CX4 Storm
From Season 2 to the end of the series, the Beretta Cx4 Storm is the standard long gun of the Colonial Marines on board the Galactica and the Pegasus. The weapons themselves have various attachments including a rail system with red dot sight, flashlight attachments, and a custom flash hider.
L85A1
The L85A1 is seen in "Resistance" (S2E04) and "The Farm" (S2E05). The rifles are found by the resistance fighters on Caprica, suggesting that the SA80 is a standard issue rifle in the Colonial military.
Heckler & Koch G36K
The Heckler & Koch G36K model assault rifle is seen almost exclusively in the hands of Colonial military personnel. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (Katee Sackhoff) is armed with the G36 in Season 2's finale "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2" (S2E20).
Remington 700 (Choate Ultimate Sniper Stock)
A Remington 700 is seen in the hands of a resistance fighter on Caprica in "Resistance" (S2E04). This particular weapon has a telescopic sight and is fitted with a Choate Ultimate Sniper/Target riflestock with a bipod.
Shotguns
Armsel Striker
The distinctive South African shotgun Armsel Striker makes a few appearances in the series but not in its primary role. Instead, as in numerous other series, it's shown as a grenade launcher.
Other
Cobray 37mm Launcher
During the siege of Kobol in "Fragged" (S2E03), Chief Tyrol is seen using this single shot grenade launcher against the Cylon radar dish. The weapon itself appears to have some ornamentation (a jacket over the barrel) so it is a little difficult to identify. However, given the presence of complete trigger guard, cocking handle and the shape of the stock it is not a stand alone M203 but the Cobray M79LF.
Adm. Cain's Gun Case
In "Pegasus" (S2E10), Adm. Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes) is seen keeping a collection of guns in her ready room:
Flintlock pistols
A pair of Flintlock Pistols are on display in the left display case.
Luger P08
The Luger P08 is another weapon seen in the right display case in Cain's office.
Webley-Scott Model 1906
The very rare Webley-Scott Model 1906 handgun also holds a place in Cain's collection.
Colt Single Action Army
Seen in a display case is a long barreled cavalry version of this classic Colt Single Action Army revolver. This one is unusual because of the shoulder stock attached (though detachable shoulder stocks were used on a SAA Lee Van Cleef used in For a Few Dollars More.)
Smith and Wesson Schofield
Alongside the Colt is a Smith and Wesson Schofield.
M1911A1
What appears to be an M1911A1-type pistol also is visible in one of the cases.
M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun
Prominently displayed in a glass case in Cain's office is a Model 1928 Thompson submachine gun.
