Fast Five is the fifth installment in the Fast and the Furious film franchise. Directed by Justin Lin (who also directed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, and Fast & Furious 6) the 2011 sequel follows Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and their crew as they attempt to complete one last job while evading a determined U.S Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agent (Dwayne Johnson) and a ruthless drug lord in Rio De Janeiro.
The following weapons were used in the film Fast Five:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226R
Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) carries a SIG-Sauer P226R as his sidearm throughout the film, notably seen during the climax of the film. It is also seen on the promotional poster for the film. Agent Wilkes (Fernando Chien) also carries one as his sidearm, and he briefly pulls it during the convoy ambush scene. The rest of the DSS agents also seem to carry P226s in thigh holsters.
Smith & Wesson Model 629 Competitor Performance Center
Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 629 "Competitor" Performance Center as his sidearm throughout the film.
Taurus PT92C
Brazilian Military Police (PMERJ) Officer Elena Neves (Elsa Pataky) uses a Taurus PT92C with wooden grips as her sidearm. Toretto also briefly handles the Taurus when he visits Elsa's apartment. Most of the Brazilian police officers also keep Taurus PT92Cs as their sidearms.
Jericho 941
Gisele Harabo (Gal Gadot) is seen drawing a black Jericho 941 when she is introduced in the film. Gadot actually served as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces, which makes it slightly unusual to see her hold the Jericho "gangsta-style" at a 90° angle while maintaining trigger discipline. It's been speculated that she is actually performing a "flat draw", meaning drawing the pistol at a 90° angle in order to make it easier to chamber a round.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Zizi (Michael Irby) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox as his sidearm throughout the film.
Beretta 92FS
One of the favela gangsters is briefly seen holding a Beretta 92FS when Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and his team enter the favelas. Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) uses a Beretta 92FS fitted with a weaponlight on the dust cover during the safehouse robbery.
Glock 18
Vince (Matt Schulze) has a Glock 18 with an extended 33-round magazine and an accessory rail during the scene when Brian and Mia arrive in Rio. He tucks the gun into the back of his pants. The gun is never really seen clearly, so there is a possibility that it is merely a Glock 19 with an extended magazine.
Glock 19
The DEA Agents aboard the train all carry Glock 19 pistols. However they are all killed by Zizi (Michael Irby) before they have a chance to fire them.
Springfield Armory XD45 Tactical
Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is seen with a Springfield Armory XD45 Tactical during the safehouse robbery.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Diogo (Luis Da Silva Jr.) uses a gold plated Smith & Wesson Model 10 during the confrontation between Hobbs and Toretto.
CZ 75
One of the Brazilian thugs pulls a CZ 75 on Hobbs and his team during Hobbs' and Toretto's confrontation.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
Agent Chato (Yorgo Constantine) carries a FN P90 with an EOTech sight as his primary firearm throughout the film. Vince (Matt Schulze) later uses the P90 to fight off Reyes' gunmen during the convoy ambush ambush, firing from the hip, no less.
Heckler & Koch UMP
Agent Macroy (Geoff Meed) uses a Heckler & Koch UMP submachine gun with an EOTech sight as his primary firearm. He most notably wields it during the convoy ambush scene.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Several gunmen use Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns. An officer guarding the Polícia Militar building also holds a MP5A3.
IMI Uzi
A favela gangster is seen holding a Uzi submachine gun. Several of Zizi's gunmen also use them during the chase in the favela. Tej Parker (Ludacris) also carries one during the robbery of Reyes' money.
Carl Gustav M/45
Favela gangsters also are seen with the Carl Gustav M/45 submachine gun. During the robbery of Reyes' safehouse, Tego (Tego Calderon) also carries a Carl Gustav M/45.
Colt 9mm Submachine Gun (RO635)
Some of Reyes' gangsters and PMERJ officers use Colt 9mm Submachine Guns (RO635).
Steyr MPi 69
One of Zizi's (Michael Irby) gunmen uses a Steyr MPi 69 submachine gun during the convoy ambush scene.
Rifles
Colt M4A1
DSS Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) carries an M4A1 with an M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System attached to it and a C-More red dot sight. Agent Fusco (Alimi Ballard) is armed with a M4A1 carbine with a M203 grenade launcher and an EOTech 551 and swivel mount 3x magnifier. Han (Sung Kang) uses a M4A1 with a flashlight during the safehouse robbery, and other gangsters and police officers use them as well.
Mk. 14 Mod 1 EBR
Agent Wilkes (Fernando Chien) carries an Mk. 14 Mod 1 EBR with an ELCAN SpectreDR 1.5–6x telescopic sight, Magpul CTR stock, bipod and AN/PEQ-15 IR designator as his primary firearm throughout the film. At several points, Wilkes fires the weapon fully automatic.
Colt Model 933
Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) uses a Colt Model 933 with a 4-position stock during the convoy ambush. One of the favela gangsters is also briefly seen with one, when Hobbs' (Dwayne Johnson) team enters the favelas. The prop is probably the same on both occasions.
Micro Draco Pistol (Customized)
Zizi (Michael Irby) uses a modified Micro Draco Pistol with a MP5K-style foregrip and sights while searching for Toretto and O'Conner in the favela. This gun also appears in Ambulance.
AMD-65
Several of Zizi's gunmen carry Hungarian AMD-65 rifles in the film.
Zastava M70AB2
Several of Reyes' and Zizi's gunmen are armed with Yugoslavian Zastava M70AB2 rifles throughout the film. Toretto (Vin Diesel) briefly commandeers a Zastava when gunmen storm his safehouse. During the favela chase, Hobbs grabs one of Zizi's gunmen, and forces him to pull the trigger of his rifle, killing a couple of Zizi's thugs.
Unidentified AR-15 Variant
Some of the Brazilian Military Police officers use unidentified AR-15 variants with removable iron sights while guarding the Polícia Militar building.
Colt AR-15 Sporter Carbine
One of Zizi's gunmen is armed with a Colt AR-15 Sporter Carbine during the favela chase.
M16/SP1
Some of the Brazilian Military Police officers carry and fire M16/SP1 rifles during the vault robbery. Some of the footage is also reused for Fast X.
FN FAL
A couple of the PMERJ officers carry FN FAL battle rifles in the Polícia Militar building.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) carries what appears to be a Remington 870 entry gun when he raids one of Reyes' (Joaquim de Almeida) safe houses. He gives the shotgun to O'Conner (Paul Walker), as he proceeds to burn Reyes' money.
Mossberg 590
Agent Chato (Yorgo Constantine) carries a Mossberg 590 with Surefire forend, an ATI collapsible stock and a door-breaching brake when Hobbs and Toretto first confront each other. Toretto (Vin Diesel) is later seen using Chatos's Mossberg when the DSS convoy is ambushed. One of Zizi's gunmen also briefly fires a Mossberg 590 with a heat shield during the convoy ambush. A PMERJ officer is also seen firing a 590 during a car chase.
M26 MASS
Hobbs has an M26 MASS shotgun attached to a M4A1 carbine, although he is not seen using it.
Smith & Wesson 916
One of the favela gangsters is briefly seen holding a Smith & Wesson 916 shotgun, when Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and his team go to the favelas. Santos (Don Omar) also uses one during the robbery of Reyes' safehouse.
Other
M134 Minigun
One of Reyes' men fires a GE M134 Minigun with a shortened barrel, as he chases Toretto and O'Conner in the finale. The sound effect of it firing is far slower than would be the case with an actual minigun, making it sound more like generic machine gun fire.
Type 69 RPG
A couple of Reyes' men use Type 69 RPGs to ambush Hobbs' convoy.
M26 Hand Grenade
Reyes' men use M26 hand grenades while ambushing Hobbs' convoy.
Mk 2 hand grenade
A number of Mk 2 hand grenades are seen on a table of weapons at Hobb's base.
