The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series JAG:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
While in reality the Beretta M9 is the standard issue sidearm for US military, the Beretta 92FS is the weapon seen used in the series by the US military personnel. The Beretta's first appearance on the show was in "Desert Son" (S1E04) when it was used by USMC First Lieutenant Jay Williams (Neal McDonough) in the climax of the episode. The handgun is also seen used by Lieutenant (later Lieutenant Commander) Harmon "Harm" Rabb, Jr. (David James Elliott), Lieutenant Junior Grade Meg Austin (Tracey Needham) and Commander Alison Krennick (Andrea Thompson).
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power is pulled by an Iraqi officer in "Scimitar" (S1E09). Harm is later seen using a suppressed Browning in the episode.
Grendel P-10
A Grendel P-10 fitted with a suppressor is used by the assassin code-named "Hemlock" (Jack Conley) in "Hemlock"(S1E15).
Makarov PM
The Makarov PM is used by several characters in the series. Iraqi Lieutenant Dumai (Natasha Pavlovich) pulls the Makarov in "Scimitar" (S1E09) and Colonel Yang Chee (Aki Aleong) holds a Makarov in "The Prisoner" (S1E20).
Smith & Wesson 5906
A Smith & Wesson 5906 was the sidearm used by the local sheriff's deputies in "Survivors" (S1E18).
Ruger KP89
An assassin opens fire on Rabb's apartment with a stainless and suppressed Ruger KP89 in "Déjà Vu" (S1E05).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
A Smith & Wesson Model 36 is seen used to threaten Captain Overton (Cress Williams) in "The Brotherhood" (S1E12). The Marine captain mentions that the gun would blow up in someone's face due to the barrel being full of dirt.
Walther PPK/S
Sonsiri (Michael Paul Chan), the ambassador of Thailand, is seen with a Walther PPK/S in "Déjà Vu" (S1E05).
Shotguns
Remington 870 Field Shotgun (Sawed Off)

Various styles of the M16 rifle series appeared in JAG during the show's long run. Both SP1s and M16A1s are seen with A2 hand guards were frequently used to simulate M16A2s. Such guns are not *technically* inaccurate in JAG, as the military has used and still does use some "Frankenstein" M16s.
