Thunder - .50 BMG

The Thunder is a prototype breech-loaded single-shot .50 BMG handgun by Triple Action, LLC of Utah. Triple Action was not a firearms firm, and the weapon was more or less a proof-of-concept for Triple Action's patented shock absorbing system invented by the weapon's designer Janos Lakatos. One example made by Janos Lakatos was shown at the 2004 SHOT show, where Triple Action looked for manufacturers for production. They did not find any, and Triple Action eventually shut down.
