The Crew (2000)

The Crew is a 2000 mob comedy directed by Michael Dinner starring Richard Dreyfuss, Burt Reynolds, Dan Hedaya, and Seymour Cassel as four retired mobsters in Miami who concoct a scheme to stay in their beachfront retirement hotel in the face of gentrification, but get into more and more trouble as they try to cover up their tracks.

The following guns were used in the film The Crew (2000):

Mossberg 500 Cruiser

To implement Joey "Bats" Pistella's (Burt Reynolds) plan, the crew purchase a Mossberg 500 Cruiser from Marty the arms dealer (Frank Vincent).

Heckler & Koch SP89

Raul Ventana's (Miguel Sandoval) henchman Escobar (José Zúñiga) uses a Heckler & Koch SP89 mocked up as a Heckler & Koch MP5K. Other henchmen use it as well. Frankie the Rash (Joseph Rigano) picks one up later as well.

A "faux" Heckler & Koch MP5K - this is an original SP89 pistol converted to full auto fire by a Class III armorer. Giveaways are the lack of a paddle magazine release. This version was also used in movies between 1989 and the late 1990s when factory original MP5Ks were not available - 9x19mm.

A nice closeup shot shows that the safety is on, but that's expected, since Miguel does not appear to be too bright.

SIG-Sauer P226

Ventana himself carries a SIG-Sauer P226. Det. Steve Menteer (Jeremy Piven) carries one as well.

Glock 17

In a continuity error, Ventana's P226 turns into a Glock 17 for one scene, and then back to a P226 later on.

Unknown revolver

Young Bats (Matthew Borlenghi) is seen with an unknown revolver. It's impossible to tell the exact type since the scene takes place at night.

Maybe the Colt Lawman from later in the film?

Marty's stash

Marty shows off his wares when the crew go to purchase a weapon for their fake hit.

Marty's stash includes a nickel-plated CZ-75B, a Beretta 92FS, a Ruger P-series pistol, a blued and stainless Mossberg 500 Cruiser, a Smith & Wesson Model 29, an Uzi, a Smith & Wesson 76 and a Heckler & Koch SP89.
