Discussion

at least this one has a safety catch gustavs i have delt with lets just say it reminds me of some kids first metal work project

Question

Is the M76 integrally sound-suppressed? I searched a few websites but they didn't clearly say either way. --MrOshimida27 17:19, 31 August 2010

What in the world made you think that? Just curious. I've fired it and you can attach a suppressor, but the barrel is simply a barrel with a heat shroud. MoviePropMaster2008 00:21, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
The barrel just looked like it to me, vaguely, and I figured if they dubbed over it in The Dark Knight, that maybe the firing noise wasn't quite loud enough for them. Thanks --MrOshimida27 16:23, 02 September 2010
Remember, they ALWAYS overdub gunfire. Except in Heat.-protoAuthor 23:21, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
I remember seeing something like this in a pictorial about a SF museum. This is a good example of an M-76 with a suppressor. http://home.netcom.com/~uzisubgun/id5.html --Charon68 22:57, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

76 or M76?

Does the official name have or not have an M? The title doesn't have an M, but the caption does. --Wuzh (talk) 04:10, 3 March 2022 (EST)
