S.W.A.T. (2017-)

S.W.A.T. is the 2017 television series revival of the SWAT franchise, which includes the original 1975 television series and the 2003 feature film adaptation. Shemar Moore stars in the series as Sgt. Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, the new leader of his Special Weapons unit who must deal with breaking in a new SWAT officer as well as the relations between the public and police department. The series, which is being co-executive produced by Shawn Ryan (The Shield and The Unit), premiered in November of 2017 in the US on CBS.

Rifles / Carbines

Heckler & Koch HK416

LAPD SWAT officers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK416 rifles in the series.

Colt M4A1

Colt M4A1s are seen in "Seizure" (S1E10) by rioting Nazi Eagle prisoners taken from prison emergency response team operators.

Colt XM177

A Colt XM177 is used by a militiaman in a siege in "Contamination" (S1E12).

XM177E2 Carbine aka Colt Model 629 - 5.56x45mm. This was the last variant of the XM177 rifle used in the Vietnam War: following the war many of these rifles were transferred to the Air Force and were classified as GAU-5A/B or GAU-5/B (sources vary), and these too were later altered to the GUU-5/P standard with a 14.5 inch 1/7 twist barrel.

Daniel Defense DDM4 MK18

The ex-military bank robbers are armed with Heckler & Koch G36C rifles during the final shootout in "Pilot" (S1E01).

Ruger AC556K

A Ruger AC556K is used by Harley Stone (Mac Brandt) and militiaman in "Contamination" (S1E12).

In "Pilot" (S1E01), Dominique Luca (Kenny Johnson) carries a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with an RIS as his primary weapon. A similar MP5A3 is used by Mumford (Peter Onorati).

Kimber Custom TLE/RL II

The primary sidearm of the Los Angeles Police Department's Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) officers is the Kimber Custom TLE II made by Kimber Manufacturing, Inc. The pistols are fitted with a Streamlight weaponlight under the pistol's rails.

Glock 17

Glock 17 pistols are seen as the sidearms of some of the LAPD patrol officers in the series. In "Cuchillo" (S1E02), a suppressed Glock is used by gang members as well as Cuchillo. Hondo finds a Glock and unloads it in "Octane". A suppressed Glock 17 is seen in "Homecoming" (S1E07). Gunnar Cade (Gideon Emery) and some rioting prisoners takes the Glock 17 from prison officers in "Seizures" (S1E10).

In "Pilot" (S1E01), a gunman pulls a Glock 17 converted to full auto and loaded with a 33 round extended magazine to fire at a lock. It's also used in "Miracle" (S1E08), albeit fired in single shot mode.

Remington 870

At the beginning of "Pilot" (S1E01), both Chris and Victor are seen holding a Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a saddle shell holder and speedfeed stock. A sawed-off one is used in "Blindspots" (S1E09). A non-lethal version is used by LAPD SWAT when a non-lethal option can be used.
