Plane is a 2023 action film directed by Jean-François Richet and stars Gerard Butler as Brodie Torrance, an airline pilot who finds himself flying Louis Gaspar (Mike Colter), a captured fugitive, from Singapore to Honolulu. When he is forced to make an emergency landing on an uncharted island in the South China Sea, Brodie must team with Gaspare to find a way to protect the passengers and the crew from falling prey to rebel factions on the island. The cast includes Tony Goldwyn, Daniella Pineda, and Paul Ben-Victor. The film was released in the US to theaters on January 13, 2023.

The M16A2 rifle is seen used by various rebel forces in the film. Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter) gives the rifle to Brodie (Gerard Butler) following a fight. Brodie is later given to rifle to use.
Colt XM177 Commando
Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter) is seen using what appears to be a Colt XM177 Commando carbine as his weapon of choice.
AKMS
The AKMS rifle is one of the weapons used by the rebels.
