About
Magpul is a American weapon manufacturer founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1994, and relocated to Wyoming (manufacturing) and Austin, Texas (corporate) in 2013. Its name is derived from the MagPul (Magazine Puller) which is an accessory used for pulling magazines from pouches, but the company achieved major success after releasing the PMAG polymer magazine in 2007. Its magazines, furniture, and M-LOK rail system are factory standard components on products from several manufacturers. While mainly known for producing firearms accessories, Magpul has developed some conceptual firearms. The FDC-9 has come the closest to serial production.
