Research
After a bit of research on the Chinese internet (not good at this, so view my words with a grain of salt), I think the original image showing the left side with no charging handle slit and no fire selector was a prototype version of the weapon showcased by Jian She during development. This new image should be the production weapon used by Chinese SWATs.
The fire selector has also apparently moved twice - from left side on the Type 05s, to the right side on the prototype gun, then back to the left again on the final version. --Wuzh (talk) 10:06, 19 February 2018 (EST)
