Before the Fall (German title: Napola - Elite für den Führer) is a 2004 German drama film directed by Dennis Gansel. Germany 1942: The 17-year-old Friedrich Weimer from the Berlin working-class district of Wedding is a gifted boxer. His talent opens the doors to NAPOLA Allenstein, where the future elite of the empire is to be called. Friedrich sees the opportunity of his life, to free himself from his class barriers and logs against the will of his parents there. In the unfamiliar world, he experiences fierce competition and unexpected camaraderie ...
