Guns of Airwolf

According to the computer readout seen during Season 1, Airwolf's offensive weapons include 40mm Cannons and .50 caliber Chain Guns mounted on each side in addition to its rocket pods. The machine guns were shown to have telescoping barrels, which allowed them to be stowed away when the helicopter configured itself to fly supersonic.

Pistols

Detonics CombatMaster

The stainless Detonics CombatMaster is seen carried by Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) in Season 3. Caitlin O'Shannessy (Jean Bruce Scott) holds the pistol in "Horn of Plenty" (S3E01).

In "Airwolf II" (S3E02), Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, aka "Archangel" (Alex Cord), uses what appears to be the Star Model B.

Smith & Wesson Model 36

Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) fires what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver at Dominic in "Horn of Plenty" (S3E01).

Smith & Wesson Model 36 (Nickel)

In "Day of Jeopardy" (S3E15), a nickel Smith & Wesson Model 36 is pulled from a briefcase.

Rifles

M16A1 (A2 handguards)

The M16A1 with A2 handguards is used in "Horn of Plenty" (S3E01).

Colt M16A1 with A2 handguards - 5.56x45mm. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available. The same thing has been done vice-versa, Using M16A2's with A1 handguards for Vietnam War B Movies.

Ruger AC556K

The Ruger AC556K is another weapon used throughout the series.

Submachine Guns

MAC-10

The MAC-10 is used throughout the series.

Heckler & Koch HK94 (Chopped & Converted)

The "Fake MP5", the Heckler & Koch HK94 converted to full auto fire and with a shortened barrel is used in the series. This version was used in many films and television series during the 1980s and 1990s.

The M60 is seen mounted on jeeps in Season 3's premiere "Horn of Plenty" (S3E01).

FIM-43 Redeye

In "Day of Jeopardy" (S3E15), Hawke is seen using an FIM-43 Redeye launcher to take out two fighter jets. The launcher is held the wrong way when it is seen used.
