Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3
+
<br clear=all>
The standard sidearm of the Torchwood agents is an airsoft TM Hi-Capa 4.3, this was used due to the strict firearms controls in the UK and because of reduced insurance cost during filming. Most agents HiCapas also include an underbarrel accessory, which is actually a storage device for a natural gas canister which feeds gas into the barrel to create a muzzle flash. Interestingly only three agents can be seen firing at one time, this is apparently because only three props were made for such a purpose. Presumably this was done as only three would most likely be needed in the early part of the show.

In the Miracle Day episode End Of The Road, corrupt CIA agents loyal to Section Chief Friedkin carry Baby Hi-Capa 3.8's as their weapons. These are likely stand ins for genuine sub-compact 1911 pistols.

Walther P99
The personal sidearm of Johnson (Liz May Brice) is an airsoft replica of the Walther P99. In the Miracle Day episode "The Gathering", Jack threatens an operative spying on Gwen's home with what appears to also be a P99.

Gwen is also be seen using a SIG-Sauer P226 during firearms training in Ghost Machine. A two-toned version is used by Gwen in The New World while defending her house during the helicopter attack. A regular P226 is also seen in the hands of a British government operative who aids in the groups capture in The New World. Gwen later uses the same pistol in the Miracle Day finale, The Blood Line.

Beretta 92F/FS
Seen in the hands of one of the perpetrators in the Season 2 episode Meat. Also used as a stand in for the M9 by various  US military personnel throughout the fourth series Miracle Day. In The Categories of Life, Sgt Ralph Coltrane (Fred Koehler) is disarmed of his Beretta (because of his portrayal of an US-soldier it can be assumed that it's a stand-in for the M9, the military version of the Beretta 92FS) by camp administrator Colin Maloney (Marc Vann), who uses it to shoot Dr Vera Juarez. In The Middle Men, Sgt Coltrane uses his Beretta to fatally shoot Maloney. Gwen is briefly seen handling one whilst robbing a pharmacy in The Gathering. In Miracle Day episode The Blood Line, the Beretta is also seen in the holsters of Argentinian Army soldiers in Buenos Aires.
