When Turner's CIA station chief S.W. Wicks ([[Michael Kane]]) requests a ".45" from the CIA armorer, the pistol given to him actually appears to be a 9mm [[Star Model B]].  Later, Wick is seen attaching a suppressor onto the pistol and is seen using it during the alley shootout with Condor.  In what appears to be a continuity error, Condor's 1911 briefly changes to this pistol during his fight with the mailman.  It's possible that this was done because the pistol was actually seen fired and 9mm blanks were more reliable during this time period.

Three Days of the Condor is a 1975 post-Watergate, post-Vietnam paranoid political/espionage thriller based on the best-selling novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady. Directed by Sydney Pollack (The Yakuza, Out of Africa, The Firm), the film (now considered to be a classic of the genre) stars Robert Redford as Joe Turner, a CIA analyst also known as "Condor", who must go on the run after finding his entire section assassinated because of a piece of sensitive information that was uncovered. In 2018, the novel and film was adapted as Condor, a television series for the Audience Network.

The following weapons were used in the film Three Days of the Condor:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Colt M1911

Joe Turner (Robert Redford), codenamed "Condor", takes a Colt M1911 from the desk secretary after she has been killed by Joubert and "the mailman". He identifies it on the phone as a ".45 automatic."

Original Colt M1911 (dated 1913) - .45 ACP
The receptionist Mrs. Russell (Helen Stenborg), codenamed "Nightingale", opens her desk drawer, revealing her 1911.
Condor grabs the receptionist's 1911 after the massacre.
Condor pushes the 1911 into the torso of Katherine Hale (Faye Dunaway).
Condor lays down with Katherine, holding the 1911 on her.
Condor threatens Higgins (Cliff Robertson) with his 1911.
Condor aims his 1911 towards Atwood.
Condor holds his .45 on Atwood in one of the final scenes. (Production Photo)
Condor moves his thumb in front of the hammer, as per Joubert's orders.
Joubert (Max von Sydow) holds Condor's 1911.
Joubert hands Condor his 1911, "for that day".

Ingram MAC-10

"The Mailman", a hitman named William Lloyd (Hank Garrett), uses a suppressed MAC-10 during the opening hit on the CIA facility and later when attempting to kill Condor in the apartment. Condor (Robert Redford) briefly gets his hands on it twice but the mailman kicks it away each time.

Joubert's assassins including "The Mailman", a hitman named William Lloyd (Hank Garrett), use suppressed MAC-10's during the office massacre.

The mailman reveals his suppressed MAC-10 just as Condor tosses a pot of coffee at him.
The mailman's MAC-10 on Kathy's couch during the apartment fight.
The mailman reaches for his MAC-10 during the fight with Condor.

Winchester Model 1897

Sgt. Jennings (Hansford Rowe), the security guard at the American Literature Historical Society CIA deep cover in New York, reaches for a Winchester Model 1897 when he was shot.

Winchester Model 1897 Riot Gun - 12 gauge
Jennings tries to reach for the shotgun.
Jennings falls, letting the shotgun drop against the counter.
The shotgun rests against the counter behind Condor as he discovers the murders at the building.

Star Model B

When Turner's CIA station chief S.W. Wicks (Michael Kane) requests a ".45" from the CIA armorer, the pistol given to him actually appears to be a 9mm Star Model B.

Star Model B - 9mm pistol from the movie The Untouchables (1987). This one is a screen used and fired handgun in the movie and was used by Kevin Costner on screen.
Wicks inspects his Star Model B.
Wicks fires his suppressed Model B at Condor in the alley.
Condor's 1911 briefly changes to a Star Model B during his fight with the mailman.
Condor fires his pistol. It's likely that the 9mm pistol was used because the weapon is actually seen discharged.

Mauser C96

Joubert (Max von Sydow) aims a Mauser C96 with a holster, stock, and scope at Condor outside Sam and Mae Barber's apartment building but is unable to fire it.

C96 "Broomhandle" Mauser fitted with holster/stock combo - 7.63x25mm.
