The White Storm is a crime action film directed by Hong Kong director/producer Benny Chan. In the film, the three close childhood friends played by Sean Lau, Louis Koo and Nick Cheung respectively, are three members of the Hong Kong Police Narcotics Bureau. The three encounters live-or-die choices as they go against the Thailand drug lord Big Boss.
The following weapons were used in the film The White Storm:
Walther P99
Ma Ho-tin (Sean Lau), the leader of a unit from the Hong Kong Police Narcotics Bureau, confiscates a Walther P99 with a stainless steel slide (an unlikely choice for Thai policemen) from a corrupt Thai cop, and uses it as his sidearm in Bangkok.
After being discovered, the corrupt Thai cop is held at gunpoint by his own Walther P99.
SIG-Sauer P250 Compact
The SIG-Sauer P250 Compact is used by Cheung Tsz-wai (Nick Cheung) and other HKPF Narcotics Bureau (NB) officers as their standard issue sidearm.
Cheung Tsz-wai (Nick Cheung) prepares to enter the rooms from the rear exit.
After firing at the suspect, Cheung Tsz-wai (Nick Cheung) holds the suspect at gunpoint.
A Narcotics Bureau officer chasing after undercover police So Kin-chow (Louis Koo) in the alleys aims his SIG-Sauer P250 Compact shortly before being hit hard by So Kin-chow.
Undercover police So Kin-chow (Louis Koo) considering whether he should shoot the drug lord and end the mission, to reinstate his police status after many years of undercover life.
Heckler & Koch P30
Cheung Tsz-wai (Nick Cheung) confiscates a Heckler & Koch P30 from a Thai cop (again, an unlikely choice for Thai policemen) and uses it during the standoff against the Big Boss’s mercenaries.
Makarov PM
In the opening scene, the trader fires a Makarov PM, wounding the breacher before being shot dead by Cheung Tsz-wai (Nick Cheung) and other officers.
The trader draws a Makarov PM to break out from the flat during the police raid.
The trader fires his Makarov PM at police officers.
