The [[SIG-Sauer P229]] is a commonly featured handgun throughout the series. Bob Brown as well as Rock, a gang member turned Army soldier both use the SIG 229 in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09). The 229 is unusual since Bob usually packs a P226 and the soldiers are getting guns from US armories (where the SIG is not commonly issued). Grey also uses one with a suppressor and laser sight in Season 3's "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02).

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Pistols

Kimber Custom TLE II

The Kimber Custom TLE II is the sidearm of choice for Command Sgt. Major Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) throughout Seasons 1-3 (though he occasionally switches to a Kimber Warrior). Betsy Blane uses this pistol to shoot a snake in "Every Step You Take" (S3E04).

Kimber Custom TLE II - .45 ACP. This version has no rails and is the version used in the television show The Unit.
Command Sgt. Major Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) cleans his pistol in "Every Step You Take" (S3E04).

Jonas' Custom M1911

At the beginning of Season 3, Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) continues to use the custom M1911 handgun he was given at the end of Season 2.

Colt Government Model M1911A1 - .45 ACP, what was likely used a base gun.
Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) holds the pistol while attempting to extract Hector in "Pandemonium, Part 2" (S3E02).
Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) holds his suppressed pistol on an assassin in "Pandemonium, Part 2" (S3E02).

Colt M1911A1

The M1911A1 is a frequent weapon seen in the series. Master Sgt. Mack Gerhardt (Max Martini) carries one as his sidearm. The pistol also is used by Col. Tom Ryan (Robert Patrick).

Colt M1911A1 - .45 ACP
The pistol is held by Col. Tom Ryan in "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02).

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is used throughout Season 3.

2nd Generation Glock 17 - 9x19mm
An assassin is armed with a suppressed Glock in "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02).

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is primarily the sidearm of Sgt. Charles Grey (Michael Irby) and Sgt. Hector Williams (Demore Barnes) in Season 3.

SIG-Sauer P226 - 9x19mm
In Season 3's premiere "Pandemonium, Part I" (S3E01), Grey puts his SIG to Bob's head as he tries to ascertain Bob's intentions.
In "Pandemonium, Part 2" (S3E02), Grey holds the SIG in the center.
In "Five Brothers" (S3E07), Sgt. Hector Williams (Demore Barnes) fires Grey's SIG as the Unit attempts to exfil a building.
In "Play 16 (S3E08), a SIG is used by Jonas.
Grey holds his 226 in a standoff with a fellow soldier (who is holding an M1911A1) in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09).

SIG-Sauer P229

The SIG-Sauer P229 is a commonly featured handgun throughout the series. Bob Brown as well as Rock, a gang member turned Army soldier, both use the SIG 229 in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09). The 229 is unusual since Bob usually packs a P226 and the soldiers are getting guns from US armories (where the SIG is not commonly issued). Grey also uses one with a suppressor and laser sight in "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02).

SIG-Sauer P229 - 9x19mm
In "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02), Grey uses a 229 equipped with a suppressor and laser sight to threaten the head of the conspiracy behind the Unit's shutdown.
In "Binary Explosion" (S3E09), Rock (Jose Pablo Cantillo) fires the P229 at Bob and the CID agents.
Bob holds the pistol in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09). Bob seems to have ditched his P226 in this episode.

SIG-Sauer P230

The SIG-Sauer P230 is used by Devon Burke (Craig Fairbrass) in "Side Angle Side" (S3E11).

SIG-Sauer P230 - .380 ACP (9mm kurz).
In "Side Angle Side" (S3E11), Devon Burke (Craig Fairbrass) is seen with a SIG P230.

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is used by SWAT members, Unit members, and US military CID agents. Special Agent Deborah Lane (Stana Katic) draws her Beretta in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09).

Beretta 92FS - 9x19mm
Mariana Ribera (Tia Texada) holds the Beretta 92FS in "Pandemonium, Part 1" (S3E01).
Special Agent Deborah Lane (Stana Katic) draws her Beretta in "Binary Explosion" (S3E09).

Walther PPK

In "Every Step You Take" (S3E04), Bob gives his backup Walther PPK to the embassy employee who fumbles when trying to fire it.

Walther PPK - .380 ACP
"Every Step You Take" (S3E04), Bob gives his backup Walther to the embassy employee.

Walther P5 Compact

A Walther P5 Compact with a stainless steel finish is carried by Bob Brown throughout Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3.

The Walther is trained on CIA Agent Kern (Ricky Jay) in "Pandemonium, Part II" (S3E02).

Mauser C96

In "Gone Missing" (S3E10), an assassin (stuntman Mark Kubr) carrying a Mauser C96 is taken out by Bob.

In "Gone Missing" (S3E10), Bob scopes the assassin carrying the Mauser.
The assassin is taken down in "Gone Missing" (S3E10). Note the stock on the Mauser.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5K

Jonas, Mack, and Hector all use Heckler & Koch MP5Ks. Jonas and Mack are seen using the newer Navy trigger group variant, while Hector is seen using one with the old "SEF" trigger.

H&K MP5K - 9x19mm

Heckler & Koch MP7A1

In Season 3's premiere "Pandemonium, Part 1" (S3E01), an assassin goes after Jonas and CIA operative Mariana Ribera (Tia Texada) with a Heckler & Koch MP7A1.

H&K MP7A1 Zeiss Z-Point sight - 4.6x30mm
In Season 3's premiere "Pandemonium, Part 1" (S3E01), the assassin readies the MP7.

Battle Rifles/Carbines

Colt M4A1 Carbine

M4A1 carbines are used by all members of the Unit, often with a 40mm M203 Grenade Launcher, and with an optical sight (normally the Trijicon ACOG, Aimpoint CompM2, or EOTech 552 Holographic sight). Sometimes, they switch with HK416s.

Colt M4A1 Carbine - 5.56x45mm
Jonas fires a regular M4A1 with no accessories besides rail covers in "MPs" (S3E06).
Jonas with his M4A1 in "MPs" (S3E06). Strangely, the bolt appears to be locked open and the charging handle is not locked in place as it would be normally during firing (in all likelihood, Dennis Haysbert accidentally dislodged it after the weapon was emptied and never locked it back into place). Also note that the lower receiver has no fencing around the magazine release like a real M4 would, making it evident that this weapon is simply an M4 upper placed on an SP1 lower.
The M4A1 is seen on display during a funeral in "Play 16" (S3E08). Earlier, an M16A2 was the rifle appearing to be prepared for this service.

M16A2

M16A2 rifles are usually seen in the hands of the military such as regular US Army units in "Every Step You Take" (S3E04). In "Play 16" (S3E08), Mack is seen cleaning and preparing an M16A2, including attaching an M9 bayonet. This rifle was presumably being prepared for display at a funeral, but strangely, an M4 is used at the funeral instead.

Colt M16A2 - 5.56x45mm
M16A2 rifles are used by US Army units in "Every Step You Take" (S3E04).
In "Play 16" (S3E08), Mack readies Hector's M16A2 for the service.
In "Play 16" (S3E08), Mack reassembles Hector's M16.
The M9 bayonet is attached to the rifle in "Play 16" (S3E08).

Heckler & Koch HK416

One of the rifles that Unit members use is the Heckler & Koch HK416, specifically the D10RS variant with a 10-inch barrel. Sometimes, the rifles have the EOTech 552 Holographic sight attached (in "Every Step You Take" (S3E04), Bob's EOTech disappears and reappears a few times). Mac uses one in "Inside Out" (S3E05).

HK416 D10RS with EOTech 552 Holographic sight, forward handgrip, and AN/PEQ-2 - 5.56x45mm NATO
In "Every Step You Take" (S3E04), Bob takes aim with his 416. Note the missing EOTech sight.
Bob with his 416 later in the episode with the EOTech sight reattached.
In the same episode, Hector covers the rear with his 416.
Grey provides cover with the 416 in "Always Kiss Them Goodbye" (S3E03). The blank adapter is visible.
In "Inside Out" (S3E05), Mack provides cover with the 416. The "HK" logo and the designator 416D are clearly visible.
Mack with the 416 in the same episode.

Colt Model 933

Colt Model 933s are used by Jonas, Mack, Bob, and Grey in the Season 3 episodes "Five Brothers" (S3E07) and "Play 16" (S3E08), but note that in the latter episode they switch to HK416s a couple times in a continuity error, which implies they are intended to stand-in for them. They are seen outfitted with EOTech 551 Holographic sights, AN/PEQ-2s, Crane stocks, vertical foregrips, and rail mounted flip-up front sights, but strangely lack a rear sight, although one shows up on Jonas's rifle sometimes in another continuity error.

In "Play 16" (S3E08), Mack hands off his 933 to Jonas.

Sniper Rifles

Remington 700 AICS

A sniper rifle frequently used by The Unit is a Remington 700 AICS.

In Season 3's premiere "Pandemonium, Part I" (S3E01), Bob is seen with the rifle as Grey holds a pistol on him.

Blaser R93 LRS2

In "Gone Missing" (S3E10), the Unit goes on a mission armed with the Blaser R93 LRS2 Precision Sniper Rifle as their sniper rifles. In the episode, the Blaser uses a new type of ammo filled with mercury that was designed specifically not to over penetrate. The rifles are handled by Bob, Grey, and Mack with Jonas alternating with Bob a couple times. The sound effect used is that of a suppressed round when clearly none of the rifles are suppressed.
