"The State border" are the historical-adventure television series about the Soviet border guards. The action takes place in the period from 1917 to late 1980 on the territory of the USSR from the Far East to the western borders. The eighth film story takes place in late 1980 in one of the southern republics of the Soviet Union. Foreign intelligence services trying to transfer secret information over a border.

U.S. commandos fires M1921AC Thompson submachine guns (identified by its very high rate of fire) on shooting range in the flashback. This, of course, has long been an obsolete weapon, since in reality they have long been replaced by more modern SMGs, such as MP5.
