The killer who shoots up the bus at the film's beginning appears to be armed with a Smith & Wesson M76 submachine gun that has the barrel shroud removed. The movie posters show both an MP40 and the Smith & Wesson 76 being used.
M16A1
A barricaded shooter uses an M16A1. SFPD SWAT officers are also armed with the rifle.
M1928A1 Thompson
A SWAT sergeant is seen armed with the M1928A1 Thompson.
Ithaca 37 Shotgun
The S.F.P.D. Swat officers use Ithaca 37 riot-guns when dealing with the barricaded shooter.
Federal M201-Z Grenade Launcher
