The Golden Taiga (US relese title; also released in English as The Golden Lake; original title Zolotoye ozero) is a Soviet 1935 adventure movie, directed by Vladimir Shnejderov. Soviet geologist expedition in Altai taiga encounters a gang of outlaw gold prospectors.
The movie is known as first Soviet adventure sound film.
The following weapons were used in the film The Golden Taiga (Zolotoye ozero):
Pistols
FN Model 1900
Geologist Abramov (uncredited) carries an FN Model 1900 pistol.
Shotguns
Berdan Bolt Action Shotgun
A Berdan bolt action shotgun is used by Marina (V. Tolstova).
Rifles
Mauser 98 Sporter
Mauser 98 Sporter rifles (probably converted military rifle rather than purpose-built sporter) are used by geologist Andrei Sepanov (Ivan Novoseltsev) and several Altai hunters.
Sporterized Mannlicher M1895
A sporterized Mannlicher M1895 rifle is used by an outlaw Podlipalo (I. Mikhailov). Later this rifle is seen in hands of Marina and Stepanov. It appears to be a converted military rifle rather than purpose-built sporter.
