AO-63

The AO-63 is a gas operated, 5.45x39mm calibre, AK-derived twin barrel assault rifle. The weapon has side by side barrels with the right barrel predominant, twin rotating bolts/gas pistons and ejects from both sides. The trigger group has a 3 position selector on the right side of the receiver, the first is semi auto firing one barrel, the second in full auto firing both barrels with a 0.01 millisecond delay, the third is unique as at first it fires a two round 6000rpm burst then one barrel in 850rpm full auto. The magazine is unusual as it has the main double column holding 30 rounds with a single column holding 15 rounds.

As of 2017, the AO-63 assault rifle has been revealed and will be on display at the Kalashnikov museum.

Familiar mock up?

Looks rather like the FN FAL (Lewis Gun mock-up) from King Solomon's Mines (1985) without the barrel sleeve Foofbun (talk) 17:32, 19 May 2017 (EDT)

Dogati firing the fake Lewis Gun. Note the magazine inserted at the bottom which is a dead give-away the gun is not a genuine Lewis Gun. The movie armourers also fitted a Lewis style rear sight.

Recent additions

I'm not sure it's appropriate to put info and stats from the actual weapon here on a page for a fictional mockup of said weapon - Especially when the mockup uses as a base an entirely different rifle in terms of caliber and operation. It just seems a bit confusing. At the very least perhaps said details could be moved here to the discussion page. StanTheMan (talk) 01:59, 30 June 2017 (EDT)
