Strange Days is a 1995 science-fiction thriller set in the city of Los Angeles on the eve of the 21st century. The film stars Ralph Fiennes as Lenny Nero, a former cop who uncovers a possible murder conspiracy while illegally dealing in a device that gives users the ultimate sensory experience. The film was directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) from a screenplay by James Cameron (Avatar).

Colt Python
A Colt Python can be seen in in the hands of one of the thieves during the opening robbery.
Colt Detective Special
A tow-truck driver brandishes what appears to be a nickel Colt Detective Special revolver when arguing with Nero about towing his car.
Beretta 92FS Centurion
What appears to be a Beretta 92FS Centurion can be seen first in the hands of one of the thieves during the opening robbery.
Beretta 92FS
What appears to be a Beretta 92FS is seen in the hands of Joey Corto (Nicky Katt), but gets it taken away by Mace.
Beretta 92FS Inox
The Beretta 92FS Inox can be seen in the hands of some police officers in the final scenes. Officers Steckler and Engleman are both seen holding one as well.
Glock 23
A Glock 23, probably a 2nd generation, is the gun carried by Lenny Nero (Ralph Fiennes). The gun is identified as a Glock 23 by Max Peltier (Tom Sizemore) in the final scenes.
Glock 17
Lenny Nero picks up a Glock 17 from under his bed after he finds out his home was broken into.
SIG-Sauer P226
Loretta "Mace" Mason (Angela Bassett) can be seen pulling a SIG-Sauer P226 when she and Lenny are trapped in their limo by Steckler.
Smith & Wesson 659
The Smith & Wesson 659, is the gun carried by Engelman (William Fichtner). Mace (Angela Bassett) uses it to threaten Burton Steckler (Vincent D'Onofrio).
In a continuity error, Mace picks up a Smith & Wesson 59 with a rounded trigger guard after fighting with Steckler.
M1911A1
What appears to be an M1911A1 is seen in the hands of one of the thieves during the opening robbery. An M1911A1 is used to threaten Lenny in a hotel room. An M1911A1 also can be seen in the hands of a police officer.
Smith & Wesson 5904
The Smith & Wesson 5904 is the on-duty sidearm carried by Officer Burton Steckler (Vincent D'Onofrio). His version wears the Novak LoMount fixed sights. A police officer also pulls a 5904 during the final standoff.
Sphinx AT380
When going back to her home, Mace opens her safe, where she keeps a Sphinx AT380, an early 90's Swiss-made handgun chambered in 380 auto.
Shotguns
Mossberg 590 Mariner
Mace takes out a Mossberg 590A Mariner fitted with a pistol grip and an extended magazine barrel from the back of her limo to blow open the trunk.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A shop owner seen on the streets of Hollywood Boulevard brandishes a Heckler & Koch MP5A3.
