The 4506, probably a 1st generation,  is the gun carried by Officer Engelman (William Fichtner). However, in the final scenes it seems that his gun was switched for a Smith & Wesson 5906. For the gun is picked up by Mace, this would seem a wise choice, since the 4506 would look way too big in Mace's hands. However, in the screenshot where Mace picks up the S&W, it seems to be a different model. Not sure which one.

Strange Days is a 1995 science-fiction thriller set in the city of Los Angeles on the eve of the 21st century. The film stars Ralph Fiennes as Lenny Nero, a former cop who uncovers a possible murder conspiracy while illegally dealing in a device that gives users the ultimate sensory experience. The film was directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) from a screenplay co-written by James Cameron (Avatar).

The following weapons were used in the film Strange Days:

Pistols

Beretta 92FS Centurion

What appears to be a Beretta 92FS Centurion can be seen first in the hands of one of the thieves during the opening robbery.

Beretta 92FS Centurion - 9x19mm
A robber with what appears to be a Beretta 92FS Centurion.

Beretta 92FS

What appears to be a regular Beretta 92FS is seen in the hands of Joey Corto (Nicky Katt), but gets it taken away by Mace.

Joey Corto (Nicky Katt) pulls the Beretta on Mace.
Mace holds the Beretta.

Beretta 92FS Inox

The Beretta 92FS Inox can be seen in the hands of some police officers in the final scenes. Officers Steckler and Engleman are both seen holding one as well.

Glock 23

A Glock 23 is the gun carried by Lenny Nero (Ralph Fiennes). The gun is identified as a Glock 23 by Max Peltier (Tom Sizemore) in the final scenes. Earlier in the film, Lenny is seen using a Glock 17 (as discussed below), and even puts the gun into a duffle bag with a box of .40-caliber ammunition, but the gun does not become an actual Glock 23 until the later scenes of the film.

Glock 23 (2nd Generation) - .40S&W
Closeup of the Glock 23.
Nero with the Glock 23. In this image, it is barely possible to see that the gun has a 2-pin frame, indicating that this is a genuine Glock 23 and not a Glock 19 being used as a stand-in (or the Glock 17 that he uses earlier in the movie).

Glock 17

Lenny Nero picks up a Glock 17 from under his bed after realizing that an intruder is in his house. He is later seen loading the gun into a bag with a box of .40-caliber ammunition, indicating that the Glock 17 is substituting in the scene for the Glock 23 that he uses later.

Glock 17 2nd Generation - 9x19mm
Lenny reaches for his Glock under the bed. Note that the tip of the guide rod beneath the muzzle is open-tipped, two-stage, indicating that this is an early (pre-1991) 2nd Generation Glock 17.
Lenny realizes there's something wrong with his Glock 17.
Magazine for the Glock. Appears to be a 17-round magazine with a 9mm round, indicating that this is definitely a 9mm Glock 17 standing in for the .40 S&W Glock 23 that he is seen using in later scenes.

SIG-Sauer P226

Loretta "Mace" Mason (Angela Bassett) can be seen pulling a SIG-Sauer P226 when she and Lenny are trapped in their limo by Steckler.
