Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the Paramount+ original series set in the universe of Star Trek. Anson Mount stars as Captain Christopher Pike, the Starfleet officer who commands the crew of the USS Enterprise as they embark on their initial 5 year mission through deep space. Several of the characters were introduced in Season 2 of the series Star Trek: Discovery. The cast includes Ethan Peck, Rebecca Romijn, and Christina Chong. While Season 1 featured no firearms, the majority of the firearms featured were utilized in a Season 2 episode where characters are seen traveling back in time to Toronto in the mid-21st century. The series premiered on the streaming service Paramount+ in May of 2021.
