Operation Thunderbolt (Original title: Mivtsa Yonatan) is a 1977 Israeli action historical drama directed by Menahem Golan (The Delta Force) that dramatizes the Israeli commando mission to liberate the hostages at the Entebbe Airport in Kampala, Uganda, on July 4, 1976. The film starred Klaus Kinski, Yehoram Gaon, and Sybil Danning.
