Near Dark (1987)


Desert Eagle Mark I

Jesse Hooker (Lance Henriksen) carries a Desert Eagle Mark I along with a Single Action Army in the film.

Single Action Army

In the shootout with the Kansas police, Diamondback (Jenette Goldstein) uses Jesse's Single Action Army.

Smith & Wesson Model 60

The Smith & Wesson Model 60 is the weapon of choice for Homer (Joshua John Miller) in the film.

Ruger Redhawk

A Ruger Redhawk is used by Severen (Bill Paxton) during the shootout with the police.

Ithaca 37

Severen uses an Ithaca 37 at the beginning of the shootout with the police and later while fleeing in the van.

M16 (SP1)

The M16 is used by all but one Kansas Highway Patrol officers in the shootout at the motel.

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm

12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun

The bartender (Thomas Wagner) uses a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun to shoot Caleb Colton (Adrian Pasdar) in the stomach.

Colt New Service

One of the highway youth's (Tony Pierce) uses a Colt New Service when trying to hold up Jesse and Diamondback. Caleb Colton (Adrian Pasdar) uses what appears to be the same gun in the shootout.

Loy Colton (Tim Thomerson) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 15 towards the end of the film.

Winchester Model 70

A scoped Winchester Model 70 is used by one of the officers to shoot Caleb several times while trying to get to the van.

Unknown Compact

An unknown compact is used by Mae (Jenny Wright) in the shootout. It closely resembles a Walther PPK, but the trigger guard is more squared.
