The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the television series Miami Vice:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson 645
Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) carries a Smith & Wesson 645 as his primary weapon during the third and fourth seasons of the show. At the time, it was from Smith & Wesson's brand new line of second generation handguns, as the producers wanted to keep up Crockett carrying a State of the Art pistol.
Smith & Wesson Model 38 "Bodyguard"
A J-frame Smith & Wesson Model 38 "Bodyguard" revolver, fitted with Pachmayr grips, is carried by Det. Ricardo Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) for most of the season. Montana Stone (Michele Shay) is seen drawing one when Tubbs' cover is blown in "Badge of Dishonor" (S4E18).
Smith & Wesson Model 36 "Chief's Special"
Det. Gina Calabrese (Saundra Santiago) and Det. Trudy Joplin (Olivia Brown) carry Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolvers as their sidearms throughout the series. Jack Rivers (Steven Keats) also uses a Model 36 at the end of "Contempt of Court" (S4E01).
Colt Trooper MK V
Lt. Martin Castillo (Edward James Olmos) uses a Colt Trooper MK V with Pachmayr grips as his sidearm throughout the season.
Browning Hi-Power
Det. Stan Switek (Michael Talbott) uses a nickel Browning Hi-Power with target sights as his sidearm throughout the season.
Walker Monroe (Ving Rhames) uses a blued Hi-Power in "Child's Play" (the Browning Hi-Power is also a central part of the episode).
Beretta Cheetah
Esther Nevin (Seret Scott) uses a stainless Beretta Cheetah at the end of "The Big Thaw".
Rojas (Geno Silva) uses a blued Beretta Cheetah in "The Cows of October". Charles Hatch (John Finn) the hired mercenary carries a Beretta Cheetah as back up to his 92F in an ankle holster in "Hell Hath No Fury".
Beretta Model 70
Jorge Cruz (Alfonso Arau) uses a suppressed Beretta Model 70 in "God's Work"
Maria Lupe Cruz (Rosanna DeSoto) uses a standard Model 70 in "God's Work".
Colt Python
Det. Sgt. Ernest Haskell (R. Lee Ermey) carries a Colt Python in "The Rising Sun of Death".
Heckler & Koch P7M13
The Hitwoman (Alonna Shaw) uses a nickel Heckler & Koch P7M13 in "A Rock and a Hard Place".
Colt Government
FBI Agent Timothy Anderson (Harry Shearer) uses a Colt Government in "The Cows of October". Lt. Martin Castillo (Edward James Olmos) carries one while undercover in "Indian Wars".
Beretta 92F

The Magnum Research Lone Eagle is a single shot hunting pistol but is not seen much in media unlike the Thompson Contender which is more prominently featured. Given the distance Hatch has to use it (less than 50 yards) and much smaller size compared to full size sniper rifle it makes for an ideal choice.

Wilson Arms Executive Protection Remington 870
A [Wilson Arms Executive Protection Remington 870] with a pistol grip and vertical foregrip is carried by Det. Ricardo Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas), in the 4th season of the show.
Info about this custom shotgun: Wilson Arms was the first to modify and sell this "super short" version of the 870. Wilson cuts off the barrel to 7.9 inches (and other barrel lengths are available at customer request), shortens the action bars and magazine tube, moves the barrel ring back, and adds a forward vertical grip on the pump slide which can also be folded flush with the rest of the pump slide if desired. The resulting weapon, called the Executive Protection Shotgun, uses synthetic Pachmayr Vindicator furniture and has no buttstock. Despite the short barrel, the shot spread is not extreme due to the choke used on the barrel. Wilson Arms (not to be confused with Wilson Combat), has been manufacturing firearms for over thirty years. Wilson Arms Co is located in Brunswick, GA.
