Star Model B

At the beginning of the movie McQ's (John Wayne) corrupt partner Stan Boyle (William Bryant) kills two other corrupt police officers (his partner in crime) with a silenced pistol. This previously unidentified pistol is a Star Model B. The Spanish 9mm Star Model B was a frequent substitute for the Government 1911s in the older days of cinema. Mainly because there were problems (that have since been solved) with getting .45ACP blanks to cycle in pistols.

Star Model B - 9mm. This particular pistol was used in the movie The Untouchables.
