Justified is a television crime drama starring Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens, a Deputy US Marshal who is transferred back to his home state of Kentucky when his methods of apprehending criminals clashes with his superiors. Upon his return, he finds himself confronting friends and family who now are on both sides of the law. The character is adapted from a short story and a series of novels written by author Elmore Leonard (Hombre, Get Shorty, and Out of Sight). The series, which was created by Graham Yost, premiered in 2010 in the US on the FX Network.
